Description

A four-screen/six-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting a man and a boy on a boat name Mary Annabelle (or Mary Anne Belle). The man in traditional fishermen’s’ gear is hauling up a lobster pot. The boy is hand-reeling a fishing line with a hooked fish. At upper right is a fishermens’ shack on a pier with a fish weathervane, a stack of lobster pots, and a seagull ready for flight. In the depths below, a large lobster appears to be snipping the line on a buoy, another buoy appears to the left, the snipped line curling below the lobster. Fish, a sand dollar, and a starfish live amongst the lobster pots.
