Name/Title

Print: Weathervanes, Vain Roosters 518-2 (TK)

Description

A four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting a stylized interpretation of two early American rooster weathervanes and a smiling sun with a large “W” and “E” indicating west and east. This is likely one of a pair of matching prints. The second print would have “N” and “S” for north and south. This print may be listed in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as Vain Roosters 518-2. This example has bound tape edges like other known examples of Country Prints sales samples.
