Kit, Country Prints: Chair Cushions, Crewel (TK)Description
A cut-and-sew chair cushion kit with a five-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting multi-flowered and fruited trees of life in the style of crewel needlework.
The kit contains printed and blank linen fabric to make a set of seat and back chair cushions. No instructions are included.
The print for the chair back cushion is based on a Louise Chrimes embroidery pattern for the Petersham Craft Center of Petersham, New Hampshire. According to a 1961 Yankee Magazine ad, Robert Darr Wert and Country Prints produced the silkscreen patterns for the Louise Chrimes kits; see images. Information and image from Margaret M.
