A Country Printe production sample retained as a print record. A placemat with a two-color silkscreen print on heavy natural linen depicting kitchen tools of wood, tin, and cast and wrought iron. Items are presented in silhouette and arranged as a collage. This placemat set is described in two colorways on the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list, “148 Cookout — Early hearth accessories in Black & Red or Brown & Black on heavy natural.” Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
