This oven mitt is part of Country Prints’ Motif Gourmet collection, a line of decidedly design-forward kitchen accessories that veer away from Wert’s typical Americana themes. The oven mitt was offered in turquoise and orange colorways. This example is in turquoise.
The oven mitt is part of a suite of kitchen accessories designed to coordinate with Motif Gourmet Herbs 280 and Cheese 284 wall hangings; see images. These items were offered individually and in matched gifts sets.
Edges are finished with turquoise bias tape which is sewn to form a hanging loop at lower right. The palm of the mitt is insulated and impregnated with an oven-proof silver coating.Made/Created
