Description

A Country Prints production or sales sample retained as a print record. A placemat set with two silkscreen printed designs. Placemat: a three-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting antique glassware and decanters in line drawings and silhouettes. Rectangular fields of color anchor the composition. Napkin: a one-color silkscreen print on solid dyed linen depicting thirty examples of early glass in line drawing and silhouetted. This set was produced in four colorways: aqua, pink, green, or brown. It is listed on a c.1958 Country Prints packing slip. Edges are straight stitched and fringed.
