Description

A five-screen/six-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting herbs planted in various vessels set amongst items found in a well-equipped early American kitchen. Items of cast iron, wrought iron, copper, wooden ware, painted tin, and cabinetry are illustrated. Country Prints produced this print in at least three colorways. This example likely dates to the late 1950’s and is the earlier of the two colorways. This print appears in the undated c.1960 “Country Prints in Frames by Robert Darr Wert”; see images.
