Description

A Country Prints sales sample retained as a print record. A two-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting carved wood buttermolds and butter making tools. Symbols of freedom and abundance are illustrated in the carved imagery, including eagles, chickens, fruit and flowers. This tablecloth is listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in two sizes (52” x 52”, 52” x 72”), and two colorways (red or brown with black), and it appears in the c.1960 brochure “Mat Sets by Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”.
