Description

A Country Prints production sample retained as a print record. A muffin cover with a four-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting over twenty examples of breads along with numerous tools for baking. This design appears in the c.1954 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints Kitchen Hangings”. It is also listed in the January 1960 Country Prints price list in two colorways (red or blue), and appears in the c.1960 brochure, “Mat Sets by Robert Darr Wert/Country Prints”, p.4; see images. A matching tablecloth, placemat set, table runner, Gift Greeting and tile were also produced; see images.
