Tile Sample: Butter Molds T-24

Description

A sales sample with a three-color silkscreen print on glossy white cardboard depicting five carved wood buttermolds and the phrase, “SOME BUTTER MOLDS”. This tile sample was printed on cardboard to ease the burden of weight for Country Prints’ independent sales representatives. Sample is bound with black adhesive tape to protect the edges. This tile design appears in the c.1955 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”; see images. This tile sample is from Country Prints’ independent west coast sales representative Ruth Gauss Flynn.
