A seven-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting a painted hutch filled with items necessary to a well equipped early American kitchen. Items of hand blown glass, wooden ware, painted tin, cast iron, wrought iron and copper are represented.
The official name for this print has not been documented. The staple marks in the corners of this example indicate it was likely a Country Prints sales sample. This print has descended through the Wert family.
This print appears in the c.1955 brochure “Country Prints in Frames”, and was also produced as a Gift Greeting, Country Prints’ line of unmounted prints sold in cardstock note folders with envelopes for mailing or gift giving; see “Gift Greetings” entries.Made/Created
