A matted four color silkscreen print on dyed yellow linen depicting a man framing a house and a woman tending a cradle, with a quote from Poor Richard’s Almanac, “Men make houses, women make homes.” Dye cut mat is glued to backing board along all four edges.
This Matted Greeting appears in the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as part of a new product line. Seventeen 7” x 9” prints were initially produced and included envelopes for mailing or gift giving. They were also available framed in black or natural frames.Made/Created
