Description

A three-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting roosters, a hen and two chicks with a radiant sun overhead. The print is bordered with a wavy red line similar to rickrack. This print appeared in a 1953 advertisement for Coulter’s Department Store of Los Angeles featuring five Country Prints products. It also appears in a c.1955 price list with the description, “More stylized birds — contemporary.”
