Wallhanging, Plowshares: Psalms 33 (TK)

Description

A Plowshares wallhanging developed by a freelance artist and produced by Country Prints after Wert’s death in January 1966. Though designed to blend with Wert’s catalog of work, the initials “BE” mark this as the work of an unidentified artist. Plowshares are Country Prints’ line of narrow wall hangings, typically 8” x 24”, the majority of which are Christian in theme. Top edge is hemmed to accept a dowel for hanging, remaining edges are serged and bound with an overlock stitch.
