A four-color silkscreen underglaze print on a white tile blank depicting the herb chives, its latin name, and suggestions for use.
The text reads, “CHIVES, allium schoenoprasum, for usefulness, freshly chopped in cottage cheese, omelettes, salad and to garnish boiled potato, fine in potato salad and with meat dishes, this family includes garlic, top onions - shallots, leek & rocambole”.
