A six-color silkscreen print on natural linen depicting a domestic scene of five chairs in silhouette gathered at an early American kitchen hearth.
This print appears in the c.1955 brochure “Country Prints in Frames” and the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list as Chair Hearth 912-1 and Spinning Wheels 912-2. Later, on a 1958 Country Prints packing slip, the two are paired as Chair Hearth/Spinning Wheels 912-1/2. In the c.1960 brochure “Country Prints in Frames Designed by Robert Darr Wert” they are paired as Hearth & Wheel 912-1; see images.Made/Created
