Description

A sales sample with a four-screen/five-color silkscreen print on glossy white cardboard depicting Wert’s interpretation of Pennsylvania “Dutch” folk art motifs. This tile sample was printed on cardboard to ease the burden of weight for Country Prints’ independent sales representatives. This tile design appears in the c.1955 brochure “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”; see images. This sample is from Country Prints’ independent west coast sales representative Ruth Gauss Flynn.
