Name/Title
Kitchen, Potholder: BirdDescription
A potholder with a silkscreened bird motif in a simple line drawing inspired by Pennsylvania “Dutch“ appliqué quilts or slipware designs. The bird is framed in a scrolled border, with corners capped by hearts. The bird’s wing and the lowest “leaves” are stitched to quilt the potholder.
The potholder has a silkscreened tag, printed with “Country Prints, Northfield, Mass” in gray ink. This was produced within the first two years of Country Prints’ founding.
A matching towel/wall hanging was also produced; see images.Made/Created
