Description

A bi-fold Christmas notecard with a one color silkscreen printed exterior in white on mauve cardstock. Front imagery depicts a Christmas cookie angel on the right flap. The left flap bears the greeting “Merry Christmas”, and the back carries the Country Prints logo. Taped to the interior is a four color silkscreen print on white linen depicting a Christmas cookie likeness of Mary riding a donkey to Bethlehem with the Christmas star above. The cookies hang from strings amidst pine boughs as if they decorate a christmas tree. This notecard is part of a series that includes a Christmas Cookies (TK) wallhanging. The imagery of the angel on the card face the linen print of Mary are both represented on the wallhanging. This notecard descended through the Wert family and is in the collection of Kathryn Zentner.
