Two unfinished Country Prints Christmas notecards.
The prints are three-color silkscreen prints on bleached fine-weave linen. The die-cut Strathmore notecards are single-fold brown cardstock accented with silver flecks. The linen prints would have been glued within to finish the notecard; see separate entry for finished cards.
The subject of the prints is aligned with Wert’s “Holiday Kitchen” wall hangings, a theme he explored many times with delightful results. Cooking implements, decorated gingerbread cookies, a glass ornament, and pine boughs complete the composition.
