Description

A placemat with a two-color silkscreen print on heavy natural linen depicting kitchen tools of wood, tin, and cast and wrought iron. Items are presented in silhouette and composed as a collage. The second name/number is described in two colorways on the Spring 1958 Country Prints price list, “148 Cookout — Early hearth accessories in Black & Red or Brown & Black on heavy natural.” The napkins are a solid brown linen to match the brown in the print.
