Tile: Country Tin T-14Description
A four-color silkscreen underglaze print on a white tile blank with a clear overglaze. Design depicts five examples of early American painted tin: two coffee pots, a tea kettle, a tea tin and a handled bowl.
This tile appears in the brochures “Robert Darr Wert/Country Print Tiles”, c.1955, as Country Tin T-14, and in “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1963 and c.1966, as Country Tin 517. The 1960’s versions are on a thinner tile body.
