Tile: Shaker Saying (TK)

Description

A three-color silkscreen overglaze print on a glazed white tile blank featuring a Shaker saying within a heart, “Put your hands to work and your heart to God and a blessing attend you.” An angel appears at the base of the heart flanked by fruiting trees topped with birds. Flowering vines border the composition. This tile example is inset-mounted within a frame of walnut veneer plywood which is backed with green felt. The felt backing indicates it may have been intended as a trivet/hotplate. A metal hanger is installed at top center and appears to be factory installed. The framing is most likely a third-party product produced by an outside vendor not associated with Country Prints.
