Name/Title
Towel, Wallhanging: Country Woman (TK) Dish Towel, Stevens Linen Associates, Inc.
Description
A three-color silkscreen print in off-white linen depicting a woman churning butter. Kitchen tools and ceramic plates hang from the wall above.
Unmistakably a design by RDW, it has not been documented as a piece by Country Prints. This example was produced by Stevens Linen Associates of Dudley MA, likely in the late 1960’s or 1970’s. This design is not represented on the list of Country Prints designs sold to Stevens in 1969, so it’s a mystery.
