NOTE: TEMP PHOTO. A four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting herb names in type and herb plants in line drawings. A radiant sun, necessary for growing herbs, appears at upper right. This print is from Country Prints’ “Motif Gourmet” collection, a decidedly design-forward line of modern compositions that step away from Wert’s usual Americana themes. It was available in orange or turquoise colorways; this example is in turquoise. This print appears in the brochure “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1966.. A coordinating collection of kitchen accessories was also produced; see links.
