Description

A Country Prints Plowshares Kitchen Pockets wall hanging with silkscreened imagery and text, and a paper calendar affixed to the pocket. The partially visible text, “God gives milk but…”, is likely related to Bible verses about milk, such as 1 Corinthians 3:2, “ I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able”, (King James version). The scene below the text depicts a farmhouse, a field with dairy cows and a man sitting beneath a tree, followed by more text. Plowshares is Country Prints’ line of narrow wall hangings, typically 8” x 24”, the majority of which are Christian in theme.
