Isreal Caplinger. Served with Brock's Gap Rifles, then with Company C, 11th Virginia Calvary. Wounded and captured at Darksville and sent to Antheneum Prison. Also confined at Camp Chase and Cario, Illinois. Surrendered to U.S. troops in 1863 and was sent north after taking an oath of allegiance.
