Description

The John Beery House. 1803. Located on Linville Creek about half mile south of Edom, VA. Abraham Beery immigrated into Rockingham County about 1770. and purchased land along Linville Creek. Came to America by way of Holland from Switzerland. He was a member of the Mennonites faith. The home is T shaped two stories brick structure. There are seven rooms.
