The John Paul House 1834
It is located on the Ottobine Road (Rt 257) near Rt 613 near Dayton, VA. Peter Paul, Jr married into the Whitmore family, the land owners. The first John Paul and two brothers served in the Civil War and John was the first Federal Judge of the Virginia Western District. The home was originally known as "Ottobine" because the Ottobine Mill was located near by.Collection
