Description

The Sites House. 1800. Also known as the Ben Kline House. It is a German style, center chimney stone house located on Rt 617 South of Broadway, VA or Old Greenmount Rd The present stone house is located in front of the original one. The chimney is off center and the room is one large room. The south side is divided into two rooms. Doors and windows are yellow pine.Exterior walls are eighteen inches thick. In 1801 the log section was removed to the present frame. In 1883 it became the property of Samuel B Kline.
