1940-1945 Royal Canadian Navy officer's service dress cap. Blue-black wool crown/body. Black mohair cap band. Black leather cap cord 1.3 cms. wide x 31.5 cms. long with two black cloth-covered brass buttons 1.3 cm. diameter. Two-piece black leather peak. Crown liner of blue-black sateen and clear plastic. Sewn to black mohair cap band is Royal Canadian navy officer's cap badge: King's crown atop gold bullion wire laurel leaf wreath and white metal fouled anchor.Made/Created
