1941-1945 Royal Canadian Air Force officer's field service "wedge" cap. Blue-gray wool, stitched construction: top crown, body, small triagular front peak, side curtain (sewn to body at top). Sky blue sateen lining, khaki felt headband. Sewn to cap front are two 1.4 cm. diameter brass R.C.A.F. buttons, and at left of cap is pinned a two-part brass cap badge: King's crown atop eagle.Made/Created
