Description

1944-1945 Royal Canadian Naval Reserve Officer's battledress jacket (Lieutenant John Harrison). Dark blue-black wool serge, single-breasted front fly opening (three brass NAVY pattern buttons 2.4 cm. diam). Open collar. Sewn above/along each shoulder seam is a black wool/gold bullion wire shoulder board 5 x 12.5 cm. (rank of one wide stripe). Adjustable waistband, closes with one of three black plastic buttons 1.6 cm. diam. Two flapped breast pockets, 14 x 17 cm., each with a brass NAVY button 1.5 cm. diam. Sleeves close with plain black plastic button 1.5 cm. diam.
