1820-1850 British civilian powder horn. Flattened pear shape, copper. Body is crimped together in halves with cylindrical top bolster and 3 cm. long copper spout with "C" shaped steel spring catch press stud screwed to base. This operates a door inside spout. Body decorated with stamped oakleaves and elk's and fox's head, one head each side.
