Description

1837 Canadian Militia Officer's waist sash. Rectangular strip of crimson net silk. Ends have stitched rectangular net balls 5 cms. wide x 2.7 cms. long. Each net ball has about 39 silk tassel strands, each strand is 4 mm. diameter x 21 cms. long.
