1899-1900 Queen's South Africa Medal, to 5094 Private D.R. McGill, Royal Canadian Regiment. Circular, silver. Obverse crowned bust Queen Victoria with title "Victoria Regina Et Imperatrix." Reverse helmeted Britannia extending wreath to marching soldiers. Titles "South Africa" (erased dates). Fixed, swivelling suspender with four bars "Cape Colony", "Paardeburg", "Driefontein", "Johannesburg." Ribbon (3.4 x 7 cm) is red-blue-yellow-blue-red.
