1900-1901 Lord Strathcona's Horse/1914-1918 Canadian Cavalry Corps stetson hat. Tan felt. Body of circular brim, circular crown (four-pointed ridge at top). Light tan sateen band around base of crown. Over this is a heavier dark brown leather hatband, seven-piece stitched construction, with two adjustable brown leather straps. Interior has 5.4 cm. wide brown leather sweatband liner. Body has two grommets which holds an 87 cm. long olive drab cotton shoelace chinstrap.
