1915 French Croix du Guerre w/bronze star. Bronze cross patee with swords, in centre the effigy (head) of French Republic symbolic woman, circular title "Republique Francaise" Suspender is fixed lug on top cross arm, with ring. Ribbon is green with seven thin red stripes, 3.6 x 7.5 cm. In centre of ribbon is pinned a bronze star.
