Description
1916--1918 Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) anti-tear gas goggles. Rectangular khaki cotton or linen eye-mask cut with two 2.5x4.5cm eye holes. Backing of white felt. Eye holes lined with clear celluloid. Stitched to edges are two tan linen tie tapes, 1.8 cm wide, one 14 cm, one 57cm long.
