1916-1919 French civilian Verdun commemorative medallion paper. Rectangular tan-white paper with two 4.2 cm. diameter pictures of medallion, French and English text "To The High Chiefs, Officers, Soldiers, To All" (medallion is a token of gratitude for triumph over the barbarian onslaught). Signed by Deputy-Mayor of Paris, 20 November 1916. The paper is associated with the medallion (1991.49.5a)
