1916-1917 Canadian Expeditionary Force (170th Toronto Battalion) private soldier's stick. Light brown hardwood (ash?) cylindrical stick, tapered, with lacquer finish. At top is a 5.5 cm. bulbous copper head with curved 170th Battalion cap badge (3 x 3.5 cm) soldered in. At stick end is a 2 cm long, 8 mm. diameter copper bolster.
