1917-1918 French Croix de Guerre. Bronze Maltese style cross with crossed swords, and a figure of "Female France" on front with title "REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE." Reverse is cross with no title or figure. Suspender a toe claw and loose ring. Ribbon is green with six thin red stripes 3.2 x 8.2 cms. No accession number on medal, court-mounted in group of ten medals.
