Description
1939-1945 Canadian Volunteer Service Medal w/overseas clasp. Circular, sterling silver. Obverse shows 7 marching figures representing Army, Navy, Air Force, Nursing Sisters. Title "1939 Canada 1945 Voluntary Service Volontaire" Reverse is Canadian Coat of Arms, Suspender a ring joined by loose ring to a bar. Ribbon is green-red-blue-red-green, 3.2 x 6.5 cms. On ribbon is rectangular silver bar with maple leaf in centre, representing overseas service, 3.2 cms x 6 mm.
