Description
1939-1945 Royal Canadian Air Force officer's field service cap made of grey-blue wool. On the side of the crown is two-part officers cap badge with an eagle and a crown. On the front are two brass RAF buttons (1.5 cm diameter). The ear tabs are held in place at the side of the cap with a hook and eye closure.
The inside is lined with brown silk. The sweatband is made of a green velvet (2.5-2.8 cm wide).
Use
Formal headwear for an officer's ceremonial uniform.

Named to F/O A.M. Duggan. Wing qualification badge for pilot is also in the collection.
