Description
1939-1945 War Medal w/"Mentioned-in-Despatches" oakleaf. Obverse crowned head King George VI with title "GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX ET INDIAE IMP" Reverse is lion standing on two headed hydra/dragon, date "1939-1945" Suspender is toe claw and fixed straight bar. Ribbon is red, blue, white, red, white, blue, red, 3.6 x 9 cm. Pinned to ribbon is a 4 mm x 2.5 cm long bronze oakleaf.
