Description
1943-1945 Royal Canadian Air Force Type "B" flying helmet. Bowl-shaped dark brown leather. At least six machine stitched outer panels, fittings of two snap-fastened vertical straps (for holding goggles), two rear straps for adjusting neck fit (steel buckles). Chinstrap with adjustble buckle. Four panels tan chamois leather for lining.
