Description
1940-1945 Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps Nursing Sister's uniform blouse. Middle blue cotton, double-breasted. Stitched construction: chest/waist, back panels, arms, inner breast pocket, shoulder straps. Waist and back are pleated. holes at front for (removable) brass "Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps" buttons: two rows of six buttons. Shoulder straps have one brass "Canada" insignia on each (these are 1.5 x 4 cms), as well as two red/green-painted brass rank "pips" on each shoulder strap. "pips" are 2.3 cms. square/7mm. high. Zippered wrists with hooks for attachment of cuffs.
