1946 American Legion of Merit, Officer Class. Five-pointed gilt cross with red/white enamelled arms. Centre a blue enamelled circle with 13 white stars surrounded by green enamelled wreath. Reverse with no centre field, two scrolled titles: "United States of America", "Annum Coeptis MDCCLXXXII" Suspender is ring on top arm, ring on ribbon. Ribbon is white, maroon, white, 3.2 x 7 cm.
