Description
1980s Royal Artillery Officer's Dress Sword. Stepped steel pommel, knurled metal backstrap. Synthetic shark skin grip w/copper wraps. 3 bar pierced guard, downswept rudimentary top quillon. Brown leather washer on front guard. Left blade is natural steel with a parkerized finish in relief, etched with scrolls and winged lightning bolts. "Royal Artillery" and proof mark near guard. Right blade British coat of arms, "ER II" cypher, artillery motto, Wilkinson trade mark.
