1939-1945 Canadian Volunteer Service Medal w/overseas clasp. Circular, silver. Obverse seven marching figures representing Army, Navy, Air Force, Nursing Sisters, with titles "1939 Canada 1945" and "Volontary Service Volontaire." Reverse is the Canadian coat of arms. Suspender is straight bar with hole and ring, ribbon is dark green, red, blue, red, dark green, 3 x 9 cm. Attached to ribbon is rectangular silver "maple leaf" bar 7 mm x 3 cm.
